Macbeth Funeral Services are an Independent family run Funeral Service provider. Our dedicated team are here to help, guide and support families through what can be one of the most difficult times in their lives.
We pride ourselves in our warm, caring, professional approach to service delivery. Our team provides families the opportunity of arranging a personalised, dignified funeral service that reflects the life of their loved one. Whether this is for an Unattended Direct Cremation, Witnessed Direct Cremation, Traditional or bespoke service depends upon your wishes.
The Macbeth Funeral Services team combined have over 39 years’ experience within the Funeral Profession. We are local to the area with long family history connections and strong local relationships. Both Ross Macbeth, Funeral Director, and Alison Lewis, Office Manager, have worked within the local community and in the funeral profession for several years gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience.
In 2018 Ross gained his National Association of Funeral Directors Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration. Alison has worked locally as a Funeral Administrator since 1989.Linda has an established career specialising as an Executive Business Advisor and is responsible for our high quality services and investment. Together they comprise an efficient, compassionate and helpful team.
Working together this has enabled The Macbeth Funeral Services team the ability to start up a high quality Independent Funeral business for our clients, giving you the confidence to choose our services.

As required we will …
Be available to you twenty four hours a day, every day of the year.
Give you unbiased practical help, advice and support before, at the time of the funeral and afterwards.
Make available the Medical Cause of Death Certificate to you for registration and advise the registration process.
Contact you to discuss arrangements for the funeral, outlining all the options available to you.
Obtain all the necessary documents required to allow the funeral to take place.
Liaise with the burial or cremation authorities and complete all statutory paperwork.
Liaise with the officiant and confirm arrangements with them.
Compile and place death notices in local or national newspapers.
Arrange an appointment for you to visit your loved one in our private chapel of rest.
Compile and produce, in house, orders of service.
Arrange floral tributes with a local florists.
Receive and collate donations to your chosen charity and provide a full listing of those donating.
Arrange catering at a venue or your home.
Advise on and arrange a final resting place for the cremated remains.
Give advice on eligibility and claiming for assistance with funeral costs.
Arrange memorials with a local Stonemason.
Provide full and itemised estimates of all costs involved both of our charges and disbursements, verbally and in writing prior to the funeral proceedings.
